Now
What I'm actually spending my time on, as opposed to what I told myself I'd be spending it on.
Last updated: September 2026. If that date is embarrassing, it’s because I forgot this page exists.
Work
Building web-based tools for robots. This remains funnier to me than it should be, given I spent my entire degree insisting I would never touch web development.
Off the clock
Climbing. Rock, specifically. Indoors more than I’d like to admit, outdoors whenever the logistics cooperate.
Photography. Still pointing a camera at things. The subjects have shifted from landscapes to people, which is harder in every way that matters and more rewarding in most of them.
Reading. Slower than the one-book-a-month target I set in 2020. I’ve made peace with it.
Somewhere on a list
- Finish the projects that are currently at 80%. All of them are at 80%. This is a known property of projects.
- Write here more than twice a year.
- Learn the rest of those songs. The guitar remembers, even when I don’t.
This is a now page — a snapshot rather than a résumé. If we know each other and this looks stale, tell me.
